I was hoping to take a poll where people state when they applied, as in, the date their application file was completed on, and when they received their decision, or if they have not received it yet. And it would likely be good to say what majors you got in to and if that was not the first choice anyway, what the first choice major had been. And if you didn't get in, same info.

I should start…Nov 10 everything was complete, Liberal Arts and Plan 2. I have not received an answer yet.

11/25 Liberal arts as well. Nothing yet, but a couple people heard back from my district.

Applied August 17. Complete and on time then. Applied to Honors also. Petroleum #1 and Mechanical #2.

In state. ACT 33, 5.1 GPA including AP classes from a non-ranking school.

Still no decision even though several from my school have been admitted. They were all McCombs and not engineering.

Still waiting…

Applied Dec 1 (that was the deadline right?) Mccombs from NJ.

Still no decision but nobody from my school has got one so it’s probs chill. Does ut austin have rolling admission? does it matter when you applied? (i thought it didn’t)

Finished all the way in October 4th aa urm 3.57uw 4.2w

So nervous thinking rejection

Applied November 30 to liberal arts (international relations specifically) and Liberal Arts Honors and was accepted to both on December 16. I was kind of surprised as I am a Texas resident that was not part of the 7% applicant pool.

I think I applied 2 days or so before the deadline (dec. 1st) and I saw my acceptance on mystatus last week. Then I received the official letter yesterday! I’m a physical culture and sports major in the college of education. I had a 3.8 uw, 4.2 w gpa from a school ranked within the top 3% in the country so I was pretty confident. I wasn’t expecting a response until the spring though.

All responses are out before spring. They’re supposed to all be released by March 1st.

That said. I applied in early November, and got everything in before December, and still have not heard back. WA. I applied for CS and ECE.

135pipe are you in state? I applied before dec 1 and am oos and haven’t heard either.

I applied in mid-november. I am oos and have not heard. Some people at myu school have heard and some have not.

Yea I am @shiloh77 what are my chances a nervous wreck my brother goes there is that helps.

135
Amazing community service! What is your major? What percentage were you as far as class rank?

Chemistry but changed to undergraduate to make it easier to get In top 8%
Fists place in regionals state 14 in nationals for BPA Prepared speech last year

135 I think you will probably be accepted. Your ec’s are admirable and you were almost auto admit. My ranking improved. I’m considering sending my latest semester grades and rank. You could do the same if there was a favorable change. I would think your brother being a student would help also. Wish you luck!

I applied in late November to Liberal Arts (history) and haven’t gotten a response. I am worried about my chances because I don’t have any extracurriculars that directly pertain to history.

Applied to McCombs Nov. 30th, heard back Dec. 15th for BHP interview.

Applied to Engineering 2013-11-03 for regular decision as an out of state student, still haven’t heard anything.

Same as above I have not heard back yet. I’m from California.

I applied ~October 17th and was accepted on Jan. 28 (Architecture). I’m in state.

Anyways, I’m fairly confident that there is no correlation between when you apply and when you hear your decision. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
