When did you take your subject tests?

Is it necessary to take some after sophomore year, or can you take them all after junior year?

consider taking the Math II subject test in May or June of your sophomore year if you will have completed precalculus.

^exactly what I’m doing. Then I’m doing bio/chem or some stuff next year after APs.

Signed up for one after Freshman year. Didn’t take it b/c I was too sad. Probs would have done badly.
Signed up for one after Soph year, but I knew APUSH wasn’t my best subject.
So, I took them all after junior year. June, October, and November. 3 in June, retake + chem in Oct, and then retake.

Took all three in June, 2 weeks after junior year ended and a month after AP’s. Worked really well!

My intent is to take them next month and I’m currently a junior.

I took Math 2 sophomore year and Physics and US History junior year, all three on June of their respective years.

I’m taking USH in June as a sophomore.

I took all mine June after my junior year

i’m doing it like this:

Freshman Year - Biology

Sophomore Year - Chemistry

Junior Year - Math IIc

Taking them all on May & June

already took biology last year (i’m a sophomore now, 750)

I’m a junior, and I’m taking mine in June

Start of Junior Year

Math IIc.

Chem
Biology

And then end of Junior year
Physics
USH
WH

I will be taking English Literature, French Language, and maybe U.S. History the June of my junior year, with possible retakes in the fall of my senior year. I was going to do Math 1 this school year after finishing Geometry, but I got caught up in other things and was unable to register for it. I’ll probably do it in the fall of my junior year. I may do Math 2 instead in June of my junior year, if Pre-Calc goes well.

^If you know the topics for Math II, it’s almost always the better choice. Math I has a killer curve.

^ I was just worried about it since my genius math friend who is acing Pre-Calc as a sophomore was like *** doing Math 2 practice questions. Maybe I’ll be able to do it. :)

I’m a sophomore right now

June Freshman Year: Biology (after Honors Bio, 740)
June Sophomore Year: Chemistry (Honors Chem)
May/June Junior Year: Math II (after IB Math SL/pre-calc), US History (after IB History of the Americas)

I’m taking Chem because I want a higher grade to “replace” my bio one, and won’t take IB Chem until I’m a senior. In Junior year, I’ll take them in May or June, depending when I take the SATs and the IB exams.

Sophomore: Math II
Junior: Bio, Chem, US

Senior: Retake if neccessary

took math 2 and bio m end of junior year. 780/760 respectively. Also means I took them at the end of ap calc bc and ap bio.

So if you didn’t take any at the end of sophomore year, the ONLY shot you have left is at the end of junior year? What if you screw up? No second chance?

They aren’t as important the SAT 1, right?

I never took any, but if I had, I would have done it like this:

June freshman year: Bio
June junior year: Chem, US History
Fall senior year: Spanish, English Lit

I probably wouldn’t send in all my scores either, but I do believe in taking them for most of the subjects covered in school because this way I have a good breadth of subjects to choose from, along with potential good scores.

You couldn’t pay me to touch Math II, though.
