I know that they say that they have to come by early february, but I know some kids last year who got theres before christmas?

When I applied, it seemed almost random. I know some people got theirs by early December; I didn't get mine until mid January, even though I had applied earlier than most of my friends.

Damnn.. well i hope i get it early dec. then lol
I also heard it has to do with what school you applied to like if u applied specifically for business or teaching then u got it earlier then if you applied aces (undecided)
is this true?

Someone from my school was accepted yesterday. OOS and a safety for her, but I guess they are starting to notify!

When did they apply though?

^

Not sure when they applied, obviously before the EA deadline.. My point was that UConn is starting to send out acceptances (to shoo-ins I guess haha)

S just received package in the mail today -- ACCEPTED -- Yeah!!! He applied to the Business School back in late Sept./early Oct. We're OOS (MA), also. Arrived MUCH earlier than anticipated -- he figured it wasn't coming until mid-January.

So hold-on out there, your acceptance is on its way!!

i applied late november, righttt before the deadline. i should expect a decision in about february right?

I applied mid-November and got my acceptance letter today.

OOS and nursing major.

what were the numbers of those of you who have gotten in? GPA, Sats....? I am anxiously awaiting a response.

My son's friend here in CT was admitted this week (Honors program). Hopefully you'll hear soon as they are starting to send admissions letters.

GPA: 4.5 W (obv) don't know what it is UW roughly a 95 average
Rank: 13/502
SAT: 1260/1870
ACT: 30

6 AP classes total, 6 Honors classes total

3.35gpa; 700M/600CR; Honors and 3APs; varsity sport.

is it traditionally easier for students in state to gain admission? I know they claim they accept 50/50 (or at least thats what I think I remember) but I am not sure how the numbers work out.

I'm pretty sure about 30% are out of staters.

Yeah but I am saying getting accepted. I think they said that they accept 50% in state and 50% out of state but the numbers turn out that more instate end up coming. Is it easier to get in living in CT?

I was wondering the same thing I am from Chicago.

I sent mine in Early november almost the first week in November. Hopefully I get my letter in the mail soon, I am dying to find out.

Although supposed to be my (relatively) safe school, I still really loved it once I visited.

Hopefully I can get in from out-of-state.

good luck to everyone else :)

My son just got his and he's in! I think he was complete in early Nov. He is OOS.

Congrats!

I just checked and mine was actually sent in oct. 31. Which means hopefully mine will come very soon.

I just emailed the lady who read my app asking if perhaps she knew relatively when they would be sent back. If the response is informative I will post it here

I spoke with admissions the other day and they said decisions for EA would be coming out next week.
