When do prereqs have to be completed by?

The statistical odds of her responding to all her emails is low. Maybe it’s a test @collegedropout1.

I’m going to suggest editing you post to remove her name, if only not to garner any undo attention to our progress in this community. I mean, I get it, you have a personal grudge, but I think we all know naming names is a no-no. Maybe it’s just me?

FWIW, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with counselors at UCLA, in every department I’ve had contact with. Just a suggestion. :)

@Cayton It is exactly what I felt
@lindyk8 No, she is just mean. A UCLA graduate told me this!
@Fullload If you google her name and add UCLA to the end, a bunch of negative comments will pop up about her. She is criticized by many people, not just me. Why would they single me out?

No worries, it was just a thought. I doubt anyone would single you out. I just thought having a problem with someone in the UCLA system would be better approached by criticizing the department or the bureaucracy, not an individual who works there by name. Your call. :)

Well @fullload does have a point. Anyway, I just googled her and they seem to be calling her “beloved”. She might not have responded because she gets 5 million emails. I’m sure she’s nicer than you think. Did you follow up with a second email?

To be fair… although she can appear as mean. She is actually a very helpful person once you get to know her. She is loved by people that have survived the Statistics Dept… her pet peeve is that a lot of students bug her for foolishness, and statistically speaking (pun intended) most people ask her foolish things are underclassmen

Maybe you asked her a question, the answer of which is readily available on the uc website… One thing I noticed on this site was the massive amount of emails that were sent to admissions offices during the wait time. Just asking the same stuff over and over! If what you asked is on the website, she might have just skipped it because of the massive amount of emails in her box.
