For an interview, if you live in a limited interviews country?

Usually, alumni contact students for interviews via the email address of record.

^^ Sometime between now and April 1st.

Can U.S. applicants expect to receive interview request emails within two weeks of submitting their application (or rather, within two weeks of getting the email from the online system)?

It varies depending upon how many alumni are in your area and how many applicants they need to interview. Generally, it’s usually in the 4-12 week range for US residents. If memory serves correctly, last year it was about 4-6 weeks for my son’s interview at Harvard and Yale, and about 12 weeks for his interview at Dartmouth – and we live in NYC where I would imagine there are tons of alumni (and tons of applicants).

I was wondering the same thing, since I also live in a country where only a limited number of interviewers is available. So thanks to everyone who replied!

Oh good, I was worried. I applied early and didn’t hear about interviews, but I expected they wouldn’t have an alumnae available in Romania by the time decisions were mailed.
Now begins the waiting for the RD interview. Probably the only interview I’ll go on
