I know the deadline to apply for UC is Nov 30. But does anyone know when they actually start the admissions process and begin looking at the applications? I would assume it’s in January because that’s when they receive the final test scores.

they start reviewing apps in December and will post admission decisions on February 1st. This is one month earlier than any UC has ever done. Has any one applied to UCR? I have a friend who's already there and likes it alot.

I applied to Riverside =D

does submitting your application in early give you any benefits?

I submitted my app in a week early.. however, they still have to wait for my December SAT score I think

Why are they reviewing the applications a month early this year?

So we can see the results of all the campuses on February 1st online?

Turning in your application has not shown to give any benefits. You just merely get to move onto the next stage of college, waiting for responses from the UCs.

The day after Christmas I received an email from Irvine saying they'd received my application and I received a letter from Santa Cruz saying they'd received my application. So I'm starting to compile an online list of application numbers and user names for the UCs to monitor the admissions process. Has anyone else received the application received letter/email? If so, from which UC?

i got one from Davis, Santa Cruz, and Irvine

I just got one from the University of California, but none from the actual universities
