Oh if youre a transfer thats probably why its different. Thanks for posting your status! And thanks everyone who shared their status, it looks like all freshmen applicants have the same, thankfully haha

So, when can I get the package if they mail it tomorrow? I live in LA.

My app status says the same thing too. I think we all have the same status.

Wednesday most likely

Scott19931223,
If the general consensus of the people on this thread is correct, and admissions decisions are in fact being mailed out tomorrow, then there are two things to consider when pondering when you will get your package.
If you are ACCEPTED - your package will be sent via USPS Priority Mail (express) and should arrive at your house on Wednesday
If you are REJECTED (I wish you luck and I hope you are accepted) - your package will be sent via USPS First Class Mail (standard) and it should arrive in a few business days, probably by Friday. I hope nobody has to worry about rejection and we all get accepted!

Thanks for replying, hope I can get it on Wednesday.

ya no problem!
hopefully we all get in and get it wednesday!

Yeah, where u live in? I am an international student live in LA.

I am from Washington State! What’s your major?

I applied economics/mathematics, but what really want is finance. Marshall is too hard.

anyone out there besides me apply to music industry?
I don’t even know how competitive it is… and i am getting worried

Econ/Math FTW! Although I might end up switching to just Econ, it depends how well I can fit my pre-med courses with electives that I want to take.

EVERYTHING is competitive. But you don’t get in if you don’t try and think that your work isn’t the absolute best.

I didn’t apply for music industry but if I get into SC I will probably look into minoring in that or something, I heard its a really fun program. I applied for PR in Annenberg. I kind of wish I could have applied to theater and changed majors later because I have a strong history in acting and my audition could have probably made up for my relatively weak GPA. Oh well hopefully it will turn out alright regardless. Good luck to all of you again, I honestly hope we will all be getting nice packages this week :)

@sadcolleges

I applied to music industry:-D

For those who live in LA, Ventura or Orange Counties – keep in mind that priority mail AND first class mail can travel from county to county here in one day. So I guess I’m saying that some of us could receive small business envelopes from USC on Wednesday and some of us coud receive the large 9x12 acceptance packages… Additionally, both envelopes could take two days and could easily arrive on Thursday in the LA area.

Hello all,

In a desperate attempt to quell some of the nervousness that comes with the long wait for an admissions decision, I have spent a lot of time ■■■■■■■■ the web this past week. Today, I came across college confidential, and more specifically this thread, for the first time. I would just like to take the time to thank everyone who has contributed thus far, as this thread has really helped with some of the anxiety. Good luck to everyone, and hopefully we’ll all be able to post good news shortly.

Hi, Rice1961, it takes 2 days even in LA? And is the small business envelope rejection, and the big one is acceptance?

^yep, hopefully we all get the big one. @Ric1961, are you sure it could take more than a day to arrive if you live within an hour of USC?

Hey guys I might be posting on the wrong forum but I could really use some help.

So I’m an international student who has applied to business management at Marshall.
Sat score: 2020
Math 1C: 720
Math II: 680
World History: 650
We don’t have a gpa system in my school, we have the O & Alevel system. So I’ve gotten straight A’s throughout so it would be a 4.0 Gpa if calculated.

I just want to know how many students apply to Marshall and what is the acceptance rate. And if you don’t get into Marshall are you considered for any other school?

Also I did not submit my mid year grades online, my school sent my midyear transcript trough mail. Will that be a problem?

I’ve already gotten into Babson, Ann arbor and Nyu (not stern) but I really want to attend USC.
