<p>Southern California and no envelope today.</p>
<p>I vaguely recall alamemom posting that USC has been mailing decisions on Fridays in past years, so maybe today is the mailing date. Then kids would get results around the 20th, which is what others have heard. Guess we’ll find out soon!</p>

(It is funny how all of us moms check and read this site during the day when the kids are at school…)</p>
<p>I live in SoCal too, and I didn’t get any USC mail today. Hopefully tomorrow will be that lucky day.</p>
<p>Hang in there everyone, you will hear soon! Gah I’m so anxious. I applied as a freshman by the Dec 1 deadline but found out a few weeks ago USC are processing me as a transfer student (my academic history is a bit complicated.) I really hope I will hear back before May 1st (although transfer students hear back by June 1st) because I have to reply to other universities! At least all of you will hear much sooner. Good luck to you all and to your kids :)</p>

<p>Sorry @alaemom and @shreddermom. UCLA mailed last week and beat USC to the punch. Earliest ever.</p>
<p>We care for USC and that is what matters.</p>
<p><<we care=“” about=“” usc=“”>> Me, too, I was just saying that UCLA mailed before they ever posted that USC would try to beat UCLA, so we can only beat them on the football field! I’m also SoCal and no mail from USC today. I know for a fact that my friends were accepted as late as April 1 in 2010, so I think there will be a wave, but shorter this year. The spring admits are the last to find out, usually.</we></p>
<p>Thousands of students are waiting to receive a USC packet in the mail. The university has printed in all brochures and pamphlets seniors would be notified on or before April 1st. I hope all will know earlier.</p>
<p>However, it is more important that each application is carefully read and given individual attention and consideraton before a decision is made.</p>
<p>Those of us on the board are waiting to celebrate with all of you who will be future Trojans.</p>

lol I think the only thing we’re all concerned about at this point is USC, the clearly superior school of the two</p>
<p>^^^ lol - we are a Trojan family, alma mater for my H, my S did get into UCLA and it is a nice backup if the Trojan family turns him away. I hope I do not have to hang the “house divided” flag!</p>

<p>The mail out date is definitely March 22 this year. The admissions staff told us at Explore host training sessions. I also have a friend who works in the admissions office and he also says the 22nd. So you guys only have to wait a couple more days!</p>
<p>Well thank you for clearing that up! At first I was reading “around the 20th” and was feeling finicky these last few days because of it.</p>
<p>Do you know if these decisions include ALL decisions, such as spring admits, rejections and waitlists?</p>
<p>So the earliest that they will mail is the 22nd? Will we receive the financial aid package then or later on?</p>
