See topic please

End of the month.

july 29th...

Why would my registration be on hold? Does the July 28th-due-date payment need to be sent first? Do I need to talk to my peer advisor first? Does it have to do with financial aid not being completed yet?

(These are questions you should be asking Penn...)

I will call them today don't worry... but I don't know who to call for what. SFS for finances, SHS for health stuff, but who do I call for scheduling and registration and such?

Your advisor or dean probably.

I really hope I remembered to bring my advisor info with me to NY. I am pretty sure I did, but I will be incredibly upset if I somehow forgot something like that.

You brought it. I packed it for you :)

You have to turn in your questionaire and talk to your advisor before they will take you off registration hold.

yeah just call your advisor up, mine was real cool, it only took 10 minutes and I was off registration hold

Alright cool. Thanks.

dont worry too much about advanced registration...most people change their schedules a lot during add/drop period so a lot of stuff opens up again - last semester i completely missed advanced registration all together and still got the classes i wanted

wait. there was a questionaire? and also don't we find out about our advisors later on?

You should have already found out...like more than a month ago. And there was a questionaire. That came with the advisors info.

so far i am only aware of my associate advisor. i had received a package with contacts/info for course registation but did not find a questionaire. i am a bme major so my classes are pretty much already set in stone, is that why? can you explain to me what this questionaire is about? thanks

No, us who are entering Penn in the fall don't have to pay the bill on July 28. Penn realizes that we still have to get all of our financial aid situated (per SFS counselors). Don't stress out about the bill that just arrived.

I haven't received advisor info or the questionaire. what should i do?

Is the advisor supposed to help me choose my courses?

I think the questionnaire is for college students, not engineers, so if you're in that school you probably don't have them
