Haven't heard yet, and I'm very worried. All info. appreciated, very anxious!

And a quick q., do we absolutely need to pursue the major that we applied for? I applied to the College of Natural Science for Biology and my second choice was Neuroscience. I am now thinking of being a Psychology major. Could anyone comment on if it's possible to switch to Psychology when I enter UT?

Thanks, Hook 'Em, and please let me know of a time frame!

2300 on SAT’s and good EC your in dude. It takes UT a while to get around to those who are not automatically admissible so they can see how much space they have left. If I were you I wouldn’t be worried.

OK, thanks. Any idea when I might hear by though? I’m hoping late February…is that overly optimistic or a good guess? I want to visit over my March Break (12-20 of march), so I would like to know a week or so in advance of that so my family and I can book tickets, accommodations, etc.

Also, how definite is our major that we apply for? I hear people saying that they didn’t get into their first choice major…does that mean that they can NEVER pursue that major at UT? I applied for Bio and Neurosci, but I want to pursue Psychology now.

I know that we should hear by the end of the day tomorrow, but is there a specific time people have been hearing or do admissions statuses change randomly whenever they get to them?
I am so nervous!

I got in, and into my first choice major! One of the best days of my life! I’m 95%+ sure that I’ll be leaving the horrible Canadian weather behind next year and coming down to glorious UT!

So happy for you!!! I got into Notre Dame, too, but not sure I can handle the cold. Even tho it snowed in Austin, it’s 70 degrees the next week. lol!

Thank you, thank you! I’m so happy. My family is ready to book tickets tonight to fly down to visit UT over March Break and we will even look for houses in Austin! So thrilled!

The grass* is not greener on the other side. UT was my favorite school a year ago when I knew I was an established TX resident. Then, I started getting greedy. I looked elsewhere, but now I realize that what I want the most has always been there for me!

I’m ready to turn down all other schools that I’ve gotten into, including the likes of Michigan, a BS-MD program that I have a solid shot at (and an Ivy, if I get into one) for UT!

Quick question. Where can I pay my $50 and $200 (or is it $300) housing and deposit fees online? I’ve been looking for a place to pay for 30 min. and haven’t found anything -.-
