When to prepare for SATs?

I'm currently a sophomore and i have no idea when to start preparing for the SATs or take SAT classes, When is the best time to start??

...anyone???

I'd wait until the summer (or Christmas if you're really enthusiastic about SAT). Buy a prep book (I'd recommend Princeton Review for strategies / timing tips, and the blue book for official practice tests), and see how it goes with the practice tests. See if you need to take classes if you're unhappy with your scores.

k thanks for your help

anyone else??

Use the summer before junior year, or the christmas break, or both xD

Sign up for SAT question a day? I know it's lame, but it gets you into good practice.

^^ and you don't really notice it. Major prep with full practice test and course, maybe Winter Break of your junior year?

thanks for the tips so summer b4 junior year?

and start PSAT prep in the summer before your junior year

alright thanks

i had to do research and that sorta stuff in the summer and it really ate up any time i had to do SATs
plus SATs r sooo boring

I'd rather start like the winter break of this year
just read classic books to get ur reading and vocab up
maaayybe just mayybe get the sparknotes vocab list and remember those (it helps a lot but it's reaaally long)
but yea just do the basics first
and do specific testing prep wiht books the summer before (u'll forget otherwise)

Start reading a lot if you don't now.
