When to take placement test? Math I or Math II?

The best time to take SAT II's for college placement is in May right? I know I'll have to take the spanish but I am not sure if I want to take Math I or Math II.

Math is NOT my strong suit, I made a 520 on the SAT last year. I need at least 620 on Math I or a 550 on the Math II to place into the class I want (Calc I).

If I can't get those scores I need at least 540 on Math I or a 480 on Math II to get into the Pre-calc class. I would rather place into calc I so I won't have to take Calc II over the summer. Though I know it all just depends on how well I do on the SAT IIs.

I am taking pre-cal now (and through next semsester, currently I have a C in the class) so should I go just take both Math SAT IIs or and just see which one I do better on?

How can I improve between now and May when I take the tests?

If you’re not that strong in math, and only getting a C in pre-cal right now (I assume it’s HS pre-cal), why do you want to jump into Calculus I? I assume you don’t want to get C’s and D’s in calculus, so taking the pre-cal in college is a way to earn a good grade in pre-cal when it’s a college-level course, and give yourself a better footing to succeed in calculus. Why would you need to take Calc II over the summer? How about in the fall?

If you want to improve in math, talk to your teacher, get a tutor, learn the stuff!

I think the best way to improve is to practice.
You should get a tutor to show you how to do the types of problems that are on the chapter. Then you take problems and practice them. over and over again. because on the test, the problems will be some form of what you were practicing. Just make sure you get a good tutor or book. This will get you a higher score in your math class

For SAT I or II math, you should definately learn how to use your calculator effectively.
a TI 89 or 84 is prefered. If you know how to use your calculator the problems will go by fast for you. and on the SAT I or II math, it is a matter of whether you read carefully or not. and practice the problems.

and the studying depends on the type of person you are. Are you better at studying with a book by yourself, or with others? you figure that out and you will improve.
I hope this helps. This helped for me.
