When to take SAT / SAT Math 2

So I'm in a bit of a pickle here.
I didn't score well on my ACT so in June, I have to take:

SAT and/or ACT or SAT II MATH 2

I got low 2000's on SAT Reasoning
I got a 28 on the ACT.

I don't know which one I should improve.

I'm at that point where IVY Leagues are a high reach while all other colleges are basically a safe.

If I were to apply to an Ivy League, I'd probably need SAT II Math.

This is what I'm feeling:
June: Too early, haven't studied enough
October: Too late? wouldn't have enough time to take it a third.

I would take either the ACT or SAT in June and then save the subject test or retake for the fall. Remember that for the SAT you can still take it in October, November, or December. If you apply RA colleges will take your SAT as late as January (though you DEFINITELY don’t want to wait that long). If you feel that Ivies are beyond your reach, it may not even be worth taking the SAT II Math II subject test.
