I was originally planning on taking the SAT and ACT this fall, but I'm wondering if I should wait a bit. I'm entering my junior year, so should I go ahead and take them THIS fall? Or should I wait until spring, if not NEXT fall?

Would it be dumb to go ahead and take them? I mean, I've been studying the blue book...

You should take them whenever you feel comfortable with your scores on the practice exam. I would suggest taking it at least twice during high school so you can get used to the real thing so that means probably once this year and maybe the fall of your senior year.

Take it three times. If you improve in certain sections, superscoring it will increase your final score greatly.

I agree with her.

Fall Junior Year
Late May of your Junior Year
Fall of your senior year

Lots of people do that and I will do it too. I suggest it to you! :)
