Upon what conditions, except for criminal related issues, will a university withdraw their offer? For example, if I'm getting 3.8 GPA right now, will a 3.6 GPA make them withdraw an offer? Or does it have to be a drastic change, for example, a sudden 3.0 GPA, for them to withdraw their offer? Thank you!

Depends on the university. I know someone rescinded from a UC for a D. 3.8 to 3.6 doesn’t sound like a big deal.

Typically, it’d take two or more D’s, or one or more F’s, or a combination thereof, ie/, you totally blew off your senior classes. Going from 3.8 to 2.4 may do it :p

Thank you, BrownParent and MYOS1634. Does anyone happen to know how strict UChicago is on these issues?

I’m relieved to hear what the above repliers mentioned, so thank you!
