<p>I just sent my application to UT two days ago, and I received a call from a counselor at UT saying that they received all of my information, and that since I am top 10% I should be receiving my admittance letter sometime in September or October. Is this the case with everyone?</p>
<p>I believe so. If you're top 10% they need look no further at your app. Of course, you'll have to maintain that standing through your senior year.</p>
<p>Actually you don't have to do anything other than pretty much not fail. Once they have accepted you, the only way they would retroactively "un-accept" you is if you fail miserably, or just clearly give up.</p>
