<p>All my application materials were in to penn state a couple weeks ago. I should be admitted (34 ACT, 3.6UW, 4.3W). When do you think I will hear from them? When is the earliest that anyone will hear from them? Do they let applicants know if they were admitted online??</p>

<p>No, November 30 is the recommended deadline. You should hear back by as late as January 31.</p>

<p>I was actually worried because ive heard that they will reject people they dont think will come, and PSU is the only safety that I liked so I am relieved right now, and still 38 days before I get deferred at my ED school.</p>

<p>The Schreyer Honors College mails out the letters all at one time...in mid February. Many members here received their letters around Feb. 17-22 this year, if I remember correctly. Supposedly, they also sent "likely" letters to a select number of the accepeted group in early February.</p>
<p>Now I'm worried. My daughter sent in her app the last week of Sept and hasn't heard back yet. She has a 3.7 GPA (UW) top 5% of a very competitive NY HS and a 1410 old SAT, 1950 new SAT. Her dad lives in PA and according to what they told me, she is considered a resident for tuition purposes. The good thing is that she just got an invite to apply to Schreyer, so maybe the acceptance is coming.</p>
