<p>For out-of-staters, like residents, it depends on applicant.</p>
<p>I found out in mid-November that I had gotten in, while others didn't find out until much later. You can't really know how long it will take.</p>
<p>My D received her acceptance to UT e-mail within 24 hours of a complete application... She is top 3%. She is waiting to hear from Engineering and Honors.</p>
<p>Well your D(daughter?) is really lucky, the anticipation built up with me for nearly 5 months, although it made it all that much more sweet. If your D, is in the first 3% she should get engineering honors.</p>
