Hi, I'm going into my junior year of high school and currently have a 3.8 weighted gpa. I was wondering what types of schools or specific schools I could have a shot at getting into. My extracurriculers are pretty good (founded a club, have been a mock trial lead attorney since my freshman year, literary magazine vp, write for, founded and oversee two blogs with multiple writers, aided a professor at a nearby university, held various seminars at community events, drafted and ran public service announcements for my clubetc.), although i've been told that they don't matter if your stats are not high so I don't know if I should have included that whole portion lol :P I havent taken the SAT yet (on PPSAT, I scored in the 98th percentile for writing and critical reading but my math score was VERY low, although I hadn't covered the material yet - but still, I am not good at math) I took APUSH last year and scored a five and have received two major awards at my school for social studies. I am taking three AP's next year and one regular class and have been writing a book for pleasure. Anyway, I am rather nervous about the upcoming college admissions process and I just wanted to see what schools I may have a shot at getting into and what kinds I should be looking at. I would prefer to be in a city, thanks so much for reading all of this and I hope I didn't come across as braggy at all; I just wanted to give u adequate information about the three application sections. Thanks so much!
