Where do students stay during the break when dorms closed??

<p>Just wanted to know for out of state students who choose to stay on campus during the breaks, where can they stay? thanks</p>

<p>Since Rose Towers will no exist next year, I wonder if the new replacement dorm will remain open…</p>

<p>Jlin…assuming that your child will be going home for Christmas break, the only other time that would be an issue would be Spring Break. If your child won’t be going home at that time, he/she could probably spend the week with a friend (southerners are used to hosting kids). Also, many kids do Community Service Projects during that time and they go somewhere with their group to help some area with a need.</p>

<p>jlin… because you asked about uab in another thread… uab does NOT close its dorms over the holidays… students can stay on campus in their dorms over any holiday.</p>
