aren't there 3 buttons on the bottom: "request", "send a message" and something else?

OK SO

I can live in parkside apartments for $2378 TOTAL

or brinkrant for $6,348 TOTAL

Are parkside apartments really that bad for freshman? Is it worth the money I save? I want some quiet time but I really want a social atmosphere too.

Why are those numbers so different? I thought Birnkrant and Parkside were similar, cost-wise... Are those for singles, doubles, triples?

well i added it up room costs for 2 semesters + cheapest meal plan + tuition then subtracted all the aid i get

the biggest difference is at the apartments i will only have to pay $1,066 for food and ill just bring most of my food (i can drive home on weekends easily)

while in any residence hall my meal plans will add up to $4,866 for the two semesters

also this is for a binkrant double ($2,955 a semester)
and parksite studio ($640/month)

How have you all heard back so soon? I submitted mine a while ago...

We haven't heard back yet for fall 07 - 08. It's mid-may.

I put:

Fluor

Birnkrant - double

Birnkrant - Triple

Marks Hall

Pardee

So i got IRC, and I'm not an international student. Parkside/IRC wasn't one of my 5 choices, but oh well. I have a feeling it might be a really cool experience for me. Does any current student have information on living in the IRC

I got Parkside Suites....which was my fourth choice. I'm just hoping that I don't get separated with my roommate though. They mix the American kids with the international students so that everyone can get to know each other and smooth out better. No matter, the suite layout and rooms are pretty amazing and I have so much room (although I'm sad that I didn't get Cinema Floor in New >.<)

i got parkside suites too! i'm excited for the bathrooms. lol

Note that Parkside Apartments and Parkside Suites are two different buildings with completely different layouts and prices. Apartments cost less overall because there's no required meal plan (and the living conditions are not as nice as in the suites).

I got the North Residence Hall Building. Business Floor I think.

Not sure if this repeated info but... my daughter also received this residence hall assignment (not one of her choices). We called and were told that this residence is now almost all freshmen with the exception that one floor will be reserved for "music" majors, another for "A&H" students.
