I'm at CCC, specifically Pasadena City College. I have a couple schools in mind already but I want other's opinions about where else I should try to transfer to and what are my chances at a specific school. Please comment... anything would be appreciated! THANX

Major: Business, Economics
GPA HS: 3.2
GPA PCC: 4.0
ACT/SAT: bad.. like below 25 and below 1800 for the new one
Schools in mind:
UCLA(Biz Econ), UCB(Economics), IU Bloomington (Business), Ohio State Univ (Finance/Accounting), USC (Accounting/ FInance), Stanford (Economics, unlikely but i wanna try)

Let's be real. Stanford does look at scores. Yours are not anywhere close to being in range. Stanford is not going to happen. There are tons of kids at CCs with way higher scores and they will take one or two. The UCs will give you a way better shot with nothing from HS looked at.

there's no way of knowing how many they'll take. They take anywhere between 0-80 kids each year. Changes each year. You still have to retake the ACts though- for sure.. study really hard and try and get a 32+

thanx for ur comments, but will u guys give me some other schools where i can transfer into? or some suggestions about the schools that i have picked except stanford =P

I think you will get into both UCLA and UCB, unless some randomness happens. Also, it is likely you will get into USC as well. I don't think you should apply to anymore schools, you want to focus as much as possible on the ones you got now. Like the others said, if you REALLY wanted to go to Stanford, you would need to retake those tests and score higher, but I think you will be fine and happy at one of the UCs or USC. Anyways, good luck on everything and congrats on the turn around!

hahaha i dont really want to go to stanford actually. The 2 schools that i am really considering are UCLA and UCB. and for back-up, sorry if this sounds boa****l, will be UCSD. thank you for all your comments, appreciate it!
