Where should I intern and how much chance do i have into getting into a good internship?

Hi guys. Im a junior undergraduate student majoring in political science in a state university. My gpa is about 2.8 and i did college activities (2 school clubs, including a journalism one). I am looking at summer internship right now. I want to get a good one, realistically, I would not mind moving to NYC or going abroad to East Asia to do it. I have three languages under my belt, and a beginner/intermediate Chinese level.
So Im looking for law or political science internships. Any help with it? I take anything big, my dream would be to work at the CIA, FBI or UN. However, my last semesters I did not get such good grades as some C's slipped into it. I write news articles on a website which surely helps.

I am also keen in moving into law school after I finish. I want to be a lawyer, international law or immigration law would be my expertise- as I am an immigrant myself. I have years to do it, I want to travel before. What should I do? Focus on law and try to move into a good law program and follow it before with an internship?
Thanks in advance guys, I really need help.

Time for some reality checks…

Political science related internships are hard to come by, are almost all either related to politicians or research, and are rarely paid.

Political science internships are most likely to be found in state capitals or Washington, DC.

Paid internships are extremely difficult to get when you have a 2.8 GPA.

Internship season is halfway over already, so you need to do your research ASAP and get applications in before you completely miss out.

If your goal is to get into law school, you need to raise your grades; internships and jobs are barely relevant compared to GPA and LSAT score. But really, I’m not sure what your question is. Are you trying to find an internship? See where you can go to law school? See what your other options are outside of law school?
