I;ll be applying this fall to transfer to a UC and today at my CC the fall class schedule came out. I'd like to sign up for classes accordingly along side with classes I still need to take.

Aside from filling up "area 2" (Mathematical Concepts & Quantitative Reasoning) I've completed the IGETC Plan C.

Therefore will now have time to focus on other classes than these minimum general requirements.

Concerning the IGETC, Plan C, under "Additional Requirements" in area "C" it states I need to be aware of American History & Institution requirements of the campus of choice.

Where can I find the American History req., specific UC req. and my major classes reqs.?

Majoring in Anthropology most likely and interested in 1) Berekely 2) UCLA 3) Irvine

I don't know if you're aware, but the American History & Institutions is a graduation requirement, meaning it has no relevance to admission. Focus all of your energy in completing your major pre-reqs (ASSIST) with the highest GPA possible.

I managed to check out Assist.org but they only listed course relevant to the major in question. (Seems like I only need 1 more for both Berekely & LA)

But I'm befuddled as to where on the school sites i'd be able to allocate both the History Reqs. (If Any) and specific school reqs. If I remember correctly I thought each school had a few certain ones to fulfill. Where can I find em'?

I just did a google search for:
ucla american history institutions

and another google search for:
berkeley american history institutions

Berkeley has explicit instructions on how to find the courses on ASSIST, but you'll have to be a little more creative (eg, look by major) to see if one of the UCLA course that satisfies the requirement is also articulated with your CCC.

Interesting, so I believe then that I've done this in high school then. And if by some chance I didn't (which I doubt) I did complete Poli Sci 101 my 1st year at my CCC.

Finally, I still can't seem to discover if there are indeed and specific requirements needed to UCB and a specific one of UCLA? I believe I remember being told there was.

Either way, I'll make sure to speak with a counselor at my school.

Since this is a University level requirement, not a campus level requirement, the requirement should stay similar for the campuses. Quickly browsing the site I posted above it seems common that high school courses, appropriate transferable college courses and AP exam scores can satisfy the requirement. The only thing that differs are the courses at each UC campus that satisfy the requirement.
