Hey guys! So decisions are out and these are the main schools I got into. I'm so happy with all them and they're all just so even in my mind. I was just curious which one you would choose and why?

haha sorry. *oxford not oxforf

All of the schools would be good options. You should ask yourself what sort of college you are looking for – research-orientated, liberal arts school, size, location, etc.

Did you visit the above schools? Do you have time to visit any of them?

UCLA and USC could not more different than Davidson. Wake and Oxford are sort of intermediates between the two. If you value an incredibly tight nit community, I’d look at either Oxford or Davidson. If you want a medium sized school with mostly small classes I’d go to Wake. If you want a large school, choose between USC and UCLA (there are a huge number of threads on this topic). Fwiw, one of my Oxford classmates transferred to USC and could not be more pleased with her choice (does miss the community though). Two UCLA students have also expressed regret to me that they didn’t consider smaller schools when they applied as high school seniors.

Thanks for all the input!

whenhen always has helpful comments. I’d add that I’d consider USC or UCLA only if you are in an honors program or are so highly motivated and such a self-starter that huge classes and red tape won’t be roadblocks to your success. Or if weather is a big consideration ;)

Wake, Davidson, & Oxford will be much easier to navigate and find support at, although Davidson might start to feel small after a couple of years.

Does money matter? Huge difference between some of those schools. Agree with Yaupon about USC unless you are interested in International Business (#1 program)
