<p>Hey guys, in the old CC forum, the SLC thread was full of posts... where has everyone gone? Is no one interested in SLC any more?</p>
<p>I'm a high school senior from Malaysia (studying in Singapore) applying to SLC for admission next Fall, and I'm dying to hear more about SLC... anyone??</p>

<p>yeah. i'm applying there. the fact that their essays are required to be in essay format saddens me because i so wanted to use my university of chicago essay, which i love to death, but it's in a different format. alas! goodluck to you!</p>
<p>Hey everyone, what are your stats? I have a friend who is dying to go to SLC.</p>
<p>SATs: 690 V, 800 M, 800 Writing, 800 Math 2, 800 Physics (first sitting 740).</p>
<p>I was the winner of the National Piano Festival (Malaysia, 2001) and a finalist in the Vladimir Krainev (Ukraine, 2000) and Ettlingen (Germany, 2002) International Competitions for Young Pianists.</p>
<p>I can't really compare my grades with most of you since we come from different education and examination systems.</p>
