@thinkingtoohard - Lang is pretty tough at my school too and was my lowest grade for three consecutive quarters, but the AP exam itself was really easy.
Honestly, when people ask me which APs I think are easiest, I tend to mention the ones with the easiest exams. Like, AP Chem at my school is a super easy class, it’s just hard remembering everything and tying all the concepts together for the exam.
Psych is the easiest one I’ve taken so far
I’ve taken Human Geo and World History… Human Geo is definitely an easy class, as it was basically my study hall where I just did homework for other classes. In my school Psych is notoriously easy, and Environmental is pretty much the lower of the two main sciences for seniors (Physics or Environmental…Physics isn’t typically at the AP level, either.) I’ve heard that US His is mostly memorization by some, but from others I’ve heard that it’s a huge pain. I’m taking 4 APs this year (Psych, Bio, US His, and Lang) and I’m hoping that with proper effort I’ll get by.
In any class, AP or not, my friends and I find that it’s a matter of how much effort you put into it. Assuming you do all or almost all of the homework, put forth study time when necessary, and apply proper attention in class, it’ll be relatively smooth sailing, regardless of the level. The only subjects that we’ve had trouble with while taking this approach would be math-based classes, but as long as you do your homework, you’ll usually be able to pull a C, or a low B. (:
