well, which one do you recommend and could you also relay the benefits and the disadvantages of both.

Newton is clearly better, because I live there...j/k honestly, it depends on what type of person you are. If you live on Newton, you need to allow for extra travel time to and from Main Campus. In other words, you can't roll out of bed at 8:50 and be on time for your 9:00 class. That's probably the worst thing about Newton. But other than that, I have no complaints. Everyone basically says hi to everyone else in the dining hall or just walking around, something I rarely see on Upper when I'm there. Here's something important: Stuart is the dining hall on Newton, and the food is way better than McElroy, which is the dining hall where the Upper kids go. Wherever you go on Newton, whether it's to mass at Trinity Chapel, Stuart, or, of course, on the bus, you'll see several people you know, which isn't the case on Upper because there are more kids and it's more spread out. Also, I know people who requested Upper and got put on Newton and vice versa, so you may not even have a choice. I hope this helps...

it's all about newton. Ride or Die, B*tches.

no seriously, it depends on what's important to you. i requested upper and was pretty upset when i ended up on newton, but now that i'm hear i really appreciate it. there is definitely a community that exists here that upper kids dont experience. but the bus is a pain, i'm not gonna lie. especially now that it's getting cold.

amen to everything they just said. newton might appear to be worse at first, but its actually better. you actually know the people youre living with, and you actually see people on a daily basis. the food is better, there are no forced triples on newton, the RAs are cool, and the community feel is great. no complaints about newton aside from the bus, but even that can be made fun. not to mention that newton has the soccer field and other stuff....
