Which classes I should take for TAG?

Hi guys,
I currently applied for the TAG( Transfer Honors Program). Any suggestion which classes (english, math, eco...) I should apply for TAG?
Thanks a lot.
Hopefully I could help others with the same question.

Uhm, I assume by TAG you mean the Transfer Admission Guarantee. That varies by school, you may only TAG one school, and the required courses depends both on your major and the school. If you’re asking what you should be taking so you can successfully TAG a school, name a UC and a major.

Unless you’re talking about something else? (Also, TAG and planned coursework for it I believe was due back in September or October or something.)

I think the OP is referring to TAP (Transfer Alliance Program) not TAG. TAG is not an honors program, it just guarantees you admission based on the early completion of certain requirements. You don’t have to take any honors classes to qualify for TAG. TAP on the other hand is an honors program that allows you priority consideration at the UC’s. Basically, it’s just a designation on your application that you’ve taken honors classes and at UCLA, you’ll be considered for an alternate major, whereas those without TAP will only be evaluated for first choice major.

TAG: [UCLA - Transfer Alliance Program](http://www.tap.ucla.edu/faq.htm)
TAP: [Transfer Admission Guarantee | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/transfer/guarantee/index.html)

For TAP, if your CC offers honors classes in any of your major pre-reqs then take those. It’ll help to distinguish you for your major and show that you’re capable of handling the extra coursework. Other than that, if it were me I would just take the easiest classes I can find outside of my major requirements. That’s usually subjective based on what subjects you do well in and the professor teaching the course. Maybe go ask some of your fellow CC peers if there are any easy honors classes. It really doesn’t matter which courses you choose to complete TAP.
