Crossroads and CKC change sometimes. It just depends which one decides to make it their crap food night. Tonight's CKC was horrible. Crossroads has variety which makes up for their crappy food sometimes I guess. I mean if you get crap food there, you can always get the asian food or the pasta which is typically ok. If you get crap food at Foothill or Clark Kerr, you're stuck with sandwiches or toast your own bread or cereal lol.

if i list my friends to be my roommates, is it guaranteed that they will become my roommates? or is there a chance that they will not be my roommates? eh...oh, do you guys suggest triple or double? i heard triple is kinda bad b/c it can get loud sometimes.

well, yes, lol, but as long as you have your requested roommates' names, id number, and exact preferences (as we are instructed to do so) it is fairly certain...at least I have been told so...no guarantees at all if you don't have all this info though.

The housing application asks for your potetial roommates student id, is this term synonymous with calnet id? if not where do you find your student id #?

So whats up with the Freeborn thing? So if you don't get a Freeborn, people living next to you can smoke,do drugs, and drink?? I thought all the dorms had no smoking policy..

how much more social is unit 3 than units 1 & 2?
andd.. does unit 3 still have the facilities that unit 1 has (it was the only unit i was able to see) - like the computer room, workout facility ?

I didn't select unit 3 because it is older than unit 1 or 2 (it hasn't been remodeled for a while) and DC3 isn't too great (but a new sushi bar is going to placed there). Unit 3 is closer to campus (Sproul Plaza).

Units (regardless 1, 2 or 3) are quite social; it just depends on what you mark on your housing app.

do you guys suggest that I request to be roommates w/my friends? Still, if I want to get a chance to know more ppl, is it better to take a risk and not request a roommate?
