I have taken both tests and earned an equivalent score on both. I was just wondering which one is easier to improve. My problem section is reading, I'm okay at writing but would still like to improve, and I'm strong in math if that helps.

I think the SAT is more exploitable. A better question to ask is which one can be improved most, not which one is easiest to improve. If you learn all of the patterns of the Critical Reading section on the SAT, it might be more work, but you still might be able to get an 800. The ACT is more straightforward from what I have heard, which might make it easier to study for, but there are more things to attack on the SAT, I think, which will take more work but might be more beneficial. I don’t know a whole lot on this, and it depends on if you are a better test taker, which would make the SAT a more ideal test, or if you are better at tests similar to what you might find in school, which would make the ACT an ideal test.

Assuming that you have plenty of time to prep…
I would choose the test that you “like” more. Students who manage to remain motivated continue to work…and continue to improve.

As you have problem in reading section, you should go.for sat

I think the SAT reading is a lot harder to improve on… For the ACT reading, getting a high score is just about being able to read and find information quickly. It’s more of a word search than anything… Plus, there are always some random SAT vocab words you aren’t prepared for. I got a 36 for ACT reading and a 770 for SAT CR (vocab mistakes).

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the science section-- that really blew my comp (33E 32M 36R… 26S)
