AP Bio or AP Stats because im considering dripping AP Bio for AP Stats

Bio, from what I’ve heard.

^This. 10char

Bio is harder, Stats is more useful and more fun. I’ve taken both courses and got 5’s on both exams.

Bio is hell. My friends that are taking it say it’s all memorization.

Technically bio isn’t hard, but there’s just a lot of work and memorization. Stats would just be like knowing concepts and analyzing things.

bio isnt necessarily hard, but its a little bit time consuming. stats, on the other hand, its mostly common sense + bs.

If you love biology, AP Bio is a breeze (in terms of learning the information; the workload, however, depends solely on your teacher).

AP Bio was one of my easiest classes last year as a sophomore (I made it that way; not spending too much time on assignments, reading, etc.), and I got an easy 5 on the exam.

To me, Bio is easier than Stats. I. loathe. Stats. Maybe it’s just me.

Stats material is quite easy. Bio material is probably the easiest of the A.P. Sciences (excluding AP environmental, but no, that is not a real science class).

Between the two Stats is easier. But bio is not hard. It’s just a matter of concept understanding/memorization - as opposed to Chemistry or Physics where there is a lot of math involved and you must be able to apply concepts to situations and so on. Biology is simply information based, you just need to know the information.
Stats is indeed “mostly common sense + bs”.

But bah, take them both. Or take one and self-study for the other. You can do it. If you do plan on doing that, stick with Bio. It’ll make your transcript look stronger and Stats is easier to self-study for as far as I can tell (I’m doing it now).

I see stats as being potentially difficult for someone who cannot really think statistically. Bio is just pure memorization, and you don’t necessarily need to be a bright student to do well on it, although that would help.
