which is your favorite dinning hall?

What about eating places on the other side like Luvalle and Northern Lights? Or the ones in Ackerman Union? Are they better than the dining halls?

Pink, I was supposed to spend the weekend with you - what happened?! I want to see Champ!

That was supposed to be Labor Day weekend, ho! I have midterms :(

I have a video of Champ on FB... you can just watch that over and over again :p

I love Champ! Yeah, I'm re-watching her! :(

ASUCLA food (ackerman etc) is awful compared to the dining halls, and is horribly overpriced. But it's passable.

Greenhouse is superb!

Agreed. 10

Listen, mme-lin's kitchen is like, the best 'dining hall' around UCLA - Westwood - Brentwood - West LA you name it! Especially with my assistant Pink. :)

Greenhouse is good for girls of course, not so great for guys who want buffets. What would be awesome is if they added a Mongolian BBQ/Grill where you can get whatever you can stack.

It'd be amusing to watch people do that too. Someone give me money so I can invest!

Sigh, what year are we in? what grade are you?

^ LOL @ Boelter's post.

Not down with mongolian bbq.

Very down with the mongolian composite bow. That thing is a piece of art!

Not a fan of Mongolian BBQ either - prefer stacking meat

****ing love Mongolian BBQ. Ughghgh shouldn't have gone into this thread. Now am "e si le" :(

Geez you're obsessed with Volcano. Try Buddha Boba across from SMC, it's better.

are there any mongolian bbq buffets around the area?
there's this place called su's mongolian bbq in the bay area and it's absolutely amazing

Yeah, there's one on Gayley.

Mongols - Los Angeles, CA

What is a good dining hall for breakfast? The schedule says only DeNeve and Covel are open during that time (besides Rendezvous and Bruin Cafe, but I want a buffet-style breakfast :P).

Then again I've heard that college students don't really eat breakfast...

I always went to Rieber for breakfast -__-

It closes at 9. De Neve closes at 10. (On weekdays).

On weekends, there's a brunch period from 10-3 PM.

I ate breakfast at Rieber as well along with the occasional De Neve.

To be honest, both are actually the same, although De Neve does have slightly better bacon.

I found out my cousin HATES bacon. Weird.

The usual for breakfast @ de neve(not brunch):

omelette bar, eggs, various types of sausage, bacon, waffles, pancakes.. not always, potato hash, various cereal, oatmeal, cream of wheat or grits or rice, various fruits, granola, toast/bread/bagels, various spreadables, cottage cheese, yogurt.

God, I miss cottage cheese. I never realized how expensive it was for how seldom I eat it.
