My GPA freshman year to end of junior 3.33 uw and 3.45 w. SAT 1600 overall out of 2400. Extracurriculars Key Club, Indoor track, Students against destructive decisions, Tutor, and etc. I want to focus on pre med track as an undergraduate. Not 100% sure on exact major. Also will apply undecided to some of theses schools for arts and science and than declare pre med track and major. The Schools are University of Pittsburgh (Applied really early and finished beginning of july. Sent essay, resume, and LORs. Applied undecided to arts and science), Duquesne University, Ohio State University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Illinois Chicago, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Robert Morris University, Allegheny College, and Penn State University. Feedback would be appreciated it!

I do not think you will get into Penn State or Ohio State. Your SAT, as it stands now, would not indicate that you will be successful as a pre med. Your passion for medicine may lead you to a satisfying career, maybe just not med school. You asked for feedback, so I’m giving it. Now, work hard and prove me wrong.

Snugapug - which of the above colleges u think i could get into?

UPitt: Reach
IUP: Safety
Duquesne: Match
UIC: Match
Loyola Chicago: High match
OSU: Reach
PSU: High match
Allegheny: Low match
Robert Morris: Safety

I don’t agree that Penn State is a high match. It is very competitive to get in to University Park campus. If you are looking at a satellite campus you should be fine. If you go to Princetonreview.com you can put in your stats and see how you fare for a specific college. It allows you to put in the high school you attended as well.

You guys think I will be able to get into Duquesne University?

???

Penn State: Reach

What about duequesne? You guys think i will get in from regular decisi

bumppppppppppp

My two top choices are Pitt and duquesne.

What colleges did you end up getting accepted into? I’m just wondering because I have similar stats and am applying to a lot of the same schools that you mentioned.
