Which one is SUNY's Main Campus?
Thank You So Much!

Hi
SUNY doesn’t have a main/flagship campus. The “university centers” are Binghamton, Albany, Buffalo, and Stony Brook. I assume there’s more research/activity going on at those four. The others are smaller and more liberal arts focused in general.

Unfortunately there are approximately 63 SUNY campuses. That means that in one state, the tax payers are supporting 63 English departments, 63 departments of sociology (ugh), and on. No flagships. Most are generic public universities. Geneseo is probably the strongest in terms of seeming less like a generic large state facility. Many shared architects with the prison system and it shows.
