Which one is the better schedule? IOE's!

An IOE here looking for advice on the better schedule.

IOE 310
IOE 316
IOE 366
IOE 333
IOE 334
MSE 220

IOE 310
IOE 316
IOE 366
IOE 333
IOE 334
ACC 471

So basically I'm trying to see if I should take ACC 471 or MSE 220? Which one would be better given my other classes?

take accounting. MSE is useless (obviously not saying accounting is useful but still not as useless as MSE)

Bearcats, he has to take 3 non-IOE engineering classes of which MSE would be one. The subject material might not be useful but the credits are more useful than the ACC credits, since he has far more options for what he can fill his flex techs with.

There is one better class than MSE220 in MSE 220’s category, and then there are 5 better categories than MSE220’s category out of the non-IOE engineering classes.

How time consuming would each of the schedules be? (Btw, I have already taken NERS 211, so I need two more after this semester)

310 with Amy Cohn is really good, but a little more time consuming than some of the other IOE classes, depending on how much time you spend on the term project. Neither 316 nor 366 is very time consuming. 333 is probably very time consuming if you want an A. If you don’t care, it’s not time consuming. 334 is pretty time consuming for a 1 credit, class, but it’s less time consuming than any 3 or 4 credit class.

I was just wondering, but could I get the same opportunities through IOE as a kid in Ross? I don’t want to give up engineering, but I still love business. Where can IOE take me?

Realtalk12, are you talking about job opportunities? If so, Ross has better recruiting. It’s definitely possible to get those same positions out of engineering, but you have to be a lot more proactive in your job search. Ross focuses more on job placement for its students than CoE does – not to say that CoE is particularly lacking in its recruiting programs, but it’s just not as strong as Ross’.
