WHICH ONE? U-Minn or OSU?

Finally, narrowed it down to these two choices. Got into both schools. Really need help on making a decision.

University of Minnesota

College of Liberal Arts-Economics

Heard that U-Minn's undergraduate Economics program is pretty strong, possibly one of the best above public schools.

Ohio State University

Fisher Business School-Economic Business

Don't know much about it. Got a scholarship though.

OSU has a better overall ranking, but many people say that it cares more about football than academics. So which one is better for my major?

If you got a big scholarship to OSU, and it will cost you less than UMinn, i would go there. Reputationwise it's pretty much a wash.

OSU's scholarship isn't huge. Without it, OSU costs more, and with it, they cost pretty much the same.

I'm more concerned about how strong the majors are, and how's the school's overall academic atmosphere.
Location is also pretty important, not found of small towns.

I've heard really great things about the Fisher School of Business. It's career placement services are awesome, or so I hear.

Personally i like MSP much better than C-bus. The big negative for Minne, it does get VERY cold there for long stretches.

I'd pick OSU. Much better campus life, in my opinion, and like someone else said, milder winters.

They're on the same tier academically.

I've seen comments on Student Review. Apparantly, OSU has much better scoring. But when i focused on the negatives, most of the kids that dislike OSU said stuff about it being a party school, and the positives all had a lot to do with social life rather than academics.

What's the diference?

OSU seems to have more of a campus bond...more school spirit.

anything else?
