Which rez?

<p>Douglas or RVC? (or if anyone had a great experience in a different rez do tell!) </p>

<p>I am a scholarship winner, so I get my first choice, which means that if i hate my residence it is entirely my own fault! haha. </p>

<p>Right now I am leaning more towards douglas because of the "community feel" I've heard it has. But I recently visited campus and I really liked the location of RVC. </p>

<p>Which has nicer/more spacious/overall better rooms and common rooms?</p>

<p>How much does it suck walking up and down the hill everyday? </p>

<p>How easy is it to make friends at both/what are the people like at both?</p>

<p>What are some general pros and cons?</p>

<p>RVC: great food & nice cafeteria; great location; </p>

<p>Douglas: probably easier to make friends because of the tight-knit community, but this will be different for everyone–you might just click with RVC people; as well, every year has almost 100% turnover in who lives in each dorm, so the overall vibe can change when everyone moves out each year; it does seem that most years Douglas has a higher percentage of scholarship winners, so you may find more like minds there</p>

<p>The hill isn’t that bad, and Douglas isn’t quite as far up as Molson etc.</p>
