Hi all, I'm currently a junior going onto senior year next year. This year I learned nothing from my useless chemistry ap teacher and therefore am not ready at all for the sat subject test. Next year I will be taking biology AP and Physics AP but I need to take one science subject test by november. I am leaning towards Physics because I want to major as an engineer but I have heard that the Physics subject test is extremely hard. Can anyone guide me in my quest?

Go with chemistry or physics (I don’t think biology is a very strong option for the subject tests). Have you taken any physics classes before as I know some schools require it? If not, don’t take physics. I thought it was pretty easy, but it would be hard with only a few months of prep along with many questions on electricity/magnetism, which is usually focused on later in the AP Physics course. Wait until you get your AP score report before actually deciding that you didn’t learn anything from your “useless” teacher.

If you did poorly on the AP test, either do some major review in chemistry or do some major learning in physics. If you’ve already had some type of physics course, look online to see what the subject test covers and go over material you’re unsure about.
