I am about to take the SAT and I want to be a bio chem major. I am stuck between biology and physics. I am taking chem and math 2. I have taken physics and I understand it a lot because I am passionate about it, however im planning for biochem, so I thought it would be common sense to take the bio sat too. So I have enough time to prepare for the bio exam, but I understand physics more and I don’t know what to do
how many Sat subject tests do the colleges you want to apply to ask for ?
the best option may to be to take 3-4 tests in different subjects- math, science, humanities , and perhaps foreign language. If you have the time.
Many colleges DONT admit by major, so taking 2 science subject tests may not help your chances of admittance the way you think they might. And showing strength across diverse subjects will impress most college admins more than being strong in one area and not so strong in other areas.
