Which sections are weighed more heavily for colleges?

<p>I know that some engineering schools (e.g, Georgia Tech) only use the Math, English, and Writing sections from the ACT, but what sections do schools like NYU, BC, BU weigh more on. I know I can "check each school," but I couldn't find anything. What do you guys think, in general?</p>

<p>This makes me think of another question - is it possible to send only 3 sections of scores to schools? For example, send only the English, Math and writing scores to Georgia tech?</p>

<p>“We do not use the ACT Composite score or the Science or Reading score.”</p>

<p>So i’m guessing that they won’t even see your other scores if you send them.</p>
