Which Selective College knows how to party?

UW social scene is very active. Halloween and Mifflin are two of the biggest parties in the USA. Just remember to study Sunday-Thurs and keep the partying to the weekend

I can't wait...do you currently attend?

Definitely not Amherst from what I hear... people prefer going to UMASS instead...

willywonka...I really don't care if I'm banned or whatever..but I just wanna say..that was very homo of you...reporting my post as offensive...I mean..you can't defend yourself in a thread? you have to report me..damn...that's fine though...

that just shows the difference between boys and grown men...

Just curious, why exactly did you tell him to shut the **** up? I mean, what did he say to you that made you write that? He wasn't even talking to you.

Rice... three letters: NOD (Night of Decadence)... supposedly it used to be top ten on playboy's list of college parties.

Thanks Xanatos. He seemed to be angry that I said my parents would be upset if they knew Dartmouth and W&L are pretty high on the booze list. Once again, though, I'd be surprised if my parents even knew that I was applying to either school.

However, the poster will be absolutely confused to hear that I absolutely did not report him for offending me. In fact, I can't even say that I was offended. He obviously misunderstood my first post and my response (which is in the thread, by the way, so I'm not sure where the insult that I'm not even defending myself on the thread comes from).

Since he realized that calling someone or something "homo" is probably going to get him banned, at least I can say he read my first response and is following my advice to think before he types.

ElwinC is a slow learner. The Mod staff didn't need anyone to complain, we caught this thread on our own. Also, ElwinC didn't check his PM's to read the warning from the Mod Staff, so now he is banned for 10 days for rudeness and another 20 days for using gay-related language as a pejorative.

The rules are pretty simple here on CC. Most of them boil down to two things: don't be a jerk and don't run with scissors.

Finally, I will remind all posters that it is a violation of your Terms of Service to argue with, question, or debate Moderating decisions. We do most of our moderating behind the scenes now but will come out in public to make things clear when we have to.
Hint: learn from this post and then walk away without a word.

Obiwan is awesome.
