Which Should I Submit, ACT or SAT?
Or rather, which one would hold more weight? I was thinking my SAT, because... I don't know. It seems more official.

All of the schools I'm applying for accept both. My top school is Dartmouth, but I'm applying to Yale just for the heck of it.

SAT:
Math: 680
English: 800
Writing: 720 (10 on essay)
Combined: 1480
Total: 2200

or

ACT
English: 34 (Essay: 10)
Math: 32
Reading: 36
Science: 32
Composite: 34

Send in both.

A 34 on the ACT is around a 1510/2250 on the SAT. So, you scored higher on the ACT.

However, your SAT score supports your ACT score.

So…

Definitely send the ACT. If you can spend the extra $, send in the SAT as well.

On a side note, why not retake the SAT? You can probably increase that Math score, and definitely your Writing score (it seems like you are an English-type person with the 800 in CR, and 36 in Reading, and 34 on the English (ACT)).

Yeah, your ACT score is slightly higher than your SAT score, but if I were you I would send in both, because there both competive scores for Darmouth, but if you can only send in one I would send the ACT.

GL =D

Thanks so much, to both of you! I am retaking the SAT in October just to improve my Math grade and hopefully to get an easier topic on the essay, haha!

I think I’ll send both. Thanks again for the opinions, guys :'D
