Am I missing any other states?

Based on PSAT Semifinalist cutoffs, California, New York, and Massachusetts are at the top

Massachusetts!

I don't think it's a matter of having the smartest kids so much as it is the best-implemented education system and/or most money.

Probably most states in New England. (MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI)

NY has the smartest stundents.

^umm no i think you mean massachusetts:D haha. i guess we can have a friendly rivalry.

Clearly New York, since living in NY is the smartest move.

I don't know about highest averages or whatever, but speaking about math and science at least, it seems like Maryland and New York get the best students.

Massachusetts, it has the strongest private schools.

I know which state has the worst students: FLORIDA!!! Seriously, if we didn't get a large annual import of northerners, we would be #50 for sure.

Believe it or not, but Kentucky has quite a few excellent high school churning out some of the top students in the nation.

California has one of the highest NMSF cutoffs cause its a big state, and a lot of the students take the PSAT. People in the SB (where i live) are dumb and they all smoke weed

Definately, Texas has the smartest high school students! No doubt.

Which state has the smartest high school students? NJ? Cali? NY? + Mass

aaannddd you have your answer

don't forget about virginians!

Washington of course (we have Microsoft). And Starbucks.

Yeah definitely MA.

MD/DC. There are two of the top 15 private high schools in these areas, along with some amazing public schools.

New York. Because I'm living in it.
