Which Suny College Is The Best For Accounting ?

i want to go to a SUNY school .. but which one of them has the best accounting undergrad program?
thanks for you time =]

My friend at SUNY-Albany got a good job in accounting. Binghamton is usually considered the best SUNY but I'm not really sure what its strengths are.

would you think that Baruch is better for accounting or SUNY Albany ?

Buffalo-Binghamton and Albany all have accounting programs.
I think Baruch is a great choice. And my gut tells me that for accounting and business in general, you may do better at Baruch. But as you probably know, there is no residential campus and it is basically a commuter school.
D's boyfriend started at Baruch, (we live on Long Island so commuting wasn't that much of an issue). But the days were so long, based on his class schedule that he transferred after a semester. If you have late afternoon classes or evening classes, you might be "on campus" from 10:00AM and not get home until evening. So keep that it mind. Of course if you live in Manhattan, it may not be that much of an issue but it could matter if you live in Queens or the other boros.

What about the SUNY at New Paltz ?

And isent SUNY Binghampton or New Paltz much harder to get into than CUNY Baruch ? So wouldnt that make the SUNY Schools better ?

CUNY Baruch has an excellent reputation in the business community. I think the big question is do you want to be "home" in NYC and commute to Baruch- or do you want a fuller college experience, including dorm life etc. You'll receive a very decent education at any of the schools.
Check out the Suny website- www.suny.edu
check out academic programs for accounting and you should be able to figure out which suny colleges have an accounting major. I believe my alma mater Oswego has an accounting major too.

Im planning on getting a double major in accounting and informational technology.
The question that im asking is if i go to SUNY at New Paltz will i get a better job when i graduate than if i go to Baruch?
Thanks for your time =]
