<p>sstory…obviously loop isn’t too bright for phrasing it like that, he knew he was going to get someone upset. but in my opinion, prestige should play a role in what school you choose. It is much more difficult to get into Berkeley or LA than it is to Santa Barbra and by going to one of the more prestigious schools you are viewed at a higher standard when you apply for jobs, meet new people, or many other things.</p>
<p>prestigious schools are usually ‘prestigious’ because they they provide a better education to better performing students. Although the education at UCSB might be equal to UCLA, the caliber of a UCLA student is much higher. </p>

<p>if you want to go to grad school, then go with whatever you feel like. if you want to work straight out of college, go to ucla almost no matter what.</p>
