I have a choice between taking the usual Honors World History course in school and take the AP exam or take the AP World History online through Kaplan and take the AP thing too. What should I choose? Being in Honors class or taking the AP online class? Has anyone taken AP World online and got a 5 on it?

I'm assuming you can't take the AP course at school, right?
I'd do the AP world online, because if you're at the AP level, honestly you'll probably be bored out of your mind in an honors class.

I dunno... I guess I'd do the thing online, but as someone who took an AP World class and did absolutely NOTHING in class, I don't really think the class matters; I think that your score really depends on studying from an AP prep book. It's a straight memorization kind of thing. I studied from Barron's the two weeks before the test (and got a 5), but I wouldn't recommend that.

It might be a good idea to take the Honors class in school and follow along in the Barron's book, then review older stuff for a month or so before the test...

I dunno; it really depends on if you think that you have the time to do the online class. Either way should be fine.

I would take the online class, and take another AP class during the block when you would have taken the Hon Class.
