really, must you rank/ask people to rank schools in terms of which is "best"? it really doesn't matter. all those top schools are excellent. rather than asking for people to tell you which school is "best", ask which they think is best for you. put aside numbers for awhile, and tell us about YOU. don't let those numbers down to the decimal define you.

and yes, i know that you face pressure from parents, teachers, peers, yourself, etc. to get into the "best" college. and that going to a top school "guarantees" success. but stop for a moment and think of this. you may end up doing great at Top College A, but how much more would you learn about yourself and how much more successful would you be if you went to (Top) College B if it were a better fit for the nonacademic, personal you? how much would learning about yourself impact your future career? life?

so please, just stop asking people to rank schools. you already know which ones are good. if you have specific questions about programs, atmosphere, etc. that personally concern you, ask. but quit asking which is better, such as harvard or yale? you may as well just ask people whether they prefer the red-orange crayon or the orange-red crayon.

seriously, people, just concentrate on yourselves, not the schools for once.
