Who else is stuck on "We received the fall grades we requested"?

yeah i agree, maybe the fall grades thing isnt bad. i hope so at least. i applied to Marshall

^SamIAm020792, we’re on the same boat. I also applied to Marshall. let me know if anything happens for ya bro.

marshall for me as well. hope we all get in with the next wave!

Seems a lot of us from Marshall are stuck on fall grades, could actually mean they are doing us later hence not being changed to forward yet.

i applied to Marshall and this Friday will be my second week I will have been at the “forwarded” status…

2310 SAT
3.61 UW not sure what W is
but i applied to CLAS and i still have “fall grades”

i applied to annenberg and am still stuck on fall grades…
usc wasn’t supposed to be hard for me to get into…
im starting to get nervous about it though.

i’m still at it too. this sucks… so many people have already heard and we are still waiting. i think at this point it can only be a bad thing

I’m stuck in the same boat as you all. =/

SAT: 2090
GPA: 4.29

Pres of Youth group and NAHS, member of CFS, had a ton of tutoring stints, art school. So lacking in ECs, but church took like 20-30hrs a week for three years.

I had good essays though.

Still stuck on fall grades, looks like I will not be hearing in the next wave (Monday). :frowning: Rejected it seems.

the lack of forwarding could also have to do with financial aid, just sayin b/c the people who need no/less aid may be forwarded faster.
im pretty confident in my stats, and after seeing everyone on here, i wouldnt worry too much, it could all be random. i spoke with students who got accepted and still had the “being reviewed” status weeks after they were accepted. good luck!

i fear i may in the same boat FP9… altogether unfortunate hahaha…

@junebug, my need is very low if not zero and was just hoping for a merit scholarship so I doubt thats a factor, though credentials have been proven to be a determing factor as to when you find out.

I’m still stuck on fall grades too! I applied to Letters & Sciences for Literature. My stats are okay: 3.61 UW GPA, 4.37 W, lots of APs and honors courses, 2240 SAT, National Merit Finalist. I heard USC likes to collect National Merit Finalists, but I’m afraid I’ve been rejected because they think I’ll list them as my #1 choice (I haven’t yet) which will require them to give me a Presidential Scholarship if admitted. I think they might reject me because they don’t want to waste scholarship money on somebody majoring in literature. I don’t know what to think.

I didn’t apply for financial aid.

@freakchild12

I have almost the same stats as you, same gpa, National Merit Finalist as well, but slightly higher SAT (2310). I also have the fall grades status too and I was thinking the same thing as you… Hopefully we’re wrong.

@ askoh

What major/college did you apply to?

CLAS Philosophy, Politics, and Law
you?

@ askoh

Literature or something, but I don’t really want to study that anymore because I don’t want to be poor. I hope we didn’t get rejected just because of National Merit. I thought I probably could get into USC. Guess not. At least I got into UCLA, which is better. I think I’m gonna change majors…

Who said that having this “received fall grades” status was a bad thing? If our status doesn’t change, does it mean that we get rejected? Or maybe applicants can get accepted directly from this status.

well from what I’ve read here on CC and from friends who have gotten in already, nobody with the fall grades status has gotten in without it changing so far
