I go to a public schol and got a 2210, the 2nd highest in my school. The guy at my school that everyone calls the "genius" because he has 100% in every class since freshman year? He got a 2260. The rest of my school basically is proud of their 15-1600s. Its really sad

dude. . .how much do you people who get 2400's study? Cause I am shooting for a 2400, but I only got a 219 on the PSAT's last year. . .I am going to die if I don't get a 235+ on the PSAT Junior year (actually, my mom will probably kill me first. . .). I have like five humongous SAT books and three verbal workouts - I did everything in these books, and I memorized (around 95%) the Barron's 3500 word list. I took a practice test this morning and miss 8 verbal questions. CRAP.
PLEEEEASE give me some help. . . I have two months left.

everyone here is talking about making 2400s and Im here studying like a slave trying to get my score to go from a 550 verbal to a 650 and 640 math to a 720......:(

2400 right here. but guys. SO MUCH OF IT IS CHANCE. the difference between a 2300 and a 2400 is so insignificant - honestly, i don't think a perfect score is that remarkable. i got one wrong, but maybe if i'd gotten three wrong it would've dropped ten points, and i definitely guessed on a few.

regardless, the whole test is such a crock of s h i t, and you have to not let it get you down. i took it in november, when the essay was about the importance of knowing how to give praise, and i was short for time so i pulled this hilarious "child psychology" example out of my ass. needless to say i know nothing about child psychology.. i invented a study from 2004, from the "wingren institute for psychiatric medicine" (DOES NOT EXIST, mr. wingren was the name of my proctor).

guys. your score is so irrelevant, in the big picture. you will all be ridiculously cool people as long as you stay chill!
